What we fit
The key difference is whether the shading sits inside or outside. Interior products control light and privacy; exterior ones also stop heat before it reaches the glass — in summer that is a difference of several degrees.

Pleated and day & night
For odd-shaped and roof windows where a standard blind will not fit. Day & night switches between a sheer and a blackout band without fully closing.

Vertical blinds
For large glazed areas and offices. 89 or 127 mm slats that tilt and stack to one side.
Exterior
Roller shutters
Foam-filled aluminium slats. They black out a bedroom, cut street noise and slightly reduce heat loss through the window in winter.

ZIP screens
Technical fabric tensioned in side rails. You still see out, but most of the solar heat is stopped before the glass. The best option for a south-facing wall.

Awnings and pergola shades
Retractable awnings over a terrace, pergola shades, crank or motor control with a wind sensor. Shade where no window treatment can help.

Survey and fitting
The fitter measures precisely and gives a fixed price. Interior products take weeks from order, exterior ones longer — they are made to size.

Questions
Interior or exterior shading?
If it is about privacy and glare, interior is enough. If the room overheats in summer, an interior blind will not fix it — the heat is already past the glass. You have to stop the sun before the window, with an external shutter or screen. The difference in room temperature is usually several degrees.
Can exterior shading be added to a finished house?
Yes. Roller shutters and screens are routinely retrofitted into the lintel area or onto the façade in a cover box. It costs more than doing it during construction, but there is no technical obstacle.
Is there a subsidy for shading?
External shading is often an eligible measure under the Czech "Nová zelená úsporám" scheme, usually combined with other energy-saving work. Conditions and amounts change between calls, so check the current one before ordering — the fitter will tell you whether your solution qualifies.
Do I have to measure the windows myself?
No. Rough sizes help estimate the price, but only the fitter's measurement is binding. Bad measuring is the most common reason shading does not fit, which is why we do it.
What does it cost me? Where is the catch?
The request is free and non-binding for you. The fitting company pays us a commission for the introduction. You agree the price and the contract directly with them.
